Aidin works on developing next-generation gene editing tools, bridging genetic engineering, molecular and synthetic biology.

He previously held roles in industry and academia, focusing on novel vaccine design, molecular biology product development, reverse genetics and recombinant virus engineering by techniques such as RNP-rebuilding rescue, homologous recombination and CRISPR-based manipulation. He holds a PhD in molecular biology and genetic engineering.

Aidin is driven by a lifelong passion for science and motivated by the potential of molecular biology to solve real-world challenges in medicine, animal disease and biotechnology.
